Hochul announces new Great Lakes cruise terminal on Buffalo's Outer Harbor, targeting 2028 season

Hochul announced Monday (Jul 20) that construction is expected to begin soon on a cruise ship terminal along Buffalo's Outer Harbor, saying Great Lakes itineraries currently bypass WNY — she cited a cruise-line map at a Quebec governors' meeting showing ships going from Port Colborne, Ontario to Erie, Pennsylvania without stopping.
