NYS Democratic chair Jacobs files BOE complaint over Blakeman's AI ads, alleging violation of 2026 disclosure law

State Democratic Committee chair Jay Jacobs filed a complaint Aug 10 with the State Board of Elections alleging Blakeman's AI-generated ads depicting Hochul and Mamdani violate the 2026 election law requiring "materially deceptive media" in political communications to carry a "has been manipulated" disclosure.
