Hochul opens Climate Week with $80M in EFC water grants: $35M awarded now (NYCHA Dyckman Houses $6.7M, Long Beach $6.1M, Lewis County $2.3M for stormwater; $16.8M Green Innovation grants to eight projects from Buffalo to Westchester; $3.1M in engineering-planning grants for 63 local wastewater projects) and a $45M Green Resiliency round opening for applications in October

Sept. 21 release. Green Resiliency Grants are funded by the 2022 $4.2B Environmental Bond Act; Green Innovation and planning grants come from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The release ties the awards to the FY27 budget's $3.75B water-infrastructure plan and claims $10.6B committed to clean-water projects since 2021. Announcement, not a new appropriation.
