City & State's Oct 22 guide lists 15 outside groups active in the governor race. Pro-Blakeman Strong and Safe New York spent about $6.5M, funded by Dolan-controlled entities ($3.7M combined), Coalition to Restore New York ($1.3M) and Securing American Greatness ($2M). Defend Empire State, previously without reported donors, lists Edelstein & Son Realty and Jonathan Hellner at $50,000 each. Pro-Hochul vehicles include Fair and Affordable New York (Uber, just over $3M), Greater Empire State (DGA-run; Bloomberg $1.5M, Sports Betting Alliance $1.2M, GNYHA $1M), Leadership for New York (NY Apartment Association $3M) and New York Future (DraftKings $3M, FanDuel $250K). Transport Workers Union VOICE (about $400K from TWU) runs ads against Hochul. The article does not mention Make it Cheaper.
