Hochul campaign says it raised more than $8.5M in September, $5.9M of it for the state Democratic Party; figures are campaign-announced, not yet a BOE filing

Per the Hochul campaign, it raised over $8.5 million in September: more than $2.6 million for her reelection committee and over $5.9 million for the NYS Democratic Party. The campaign reports more than $18.5 million cash on hand, the party more than $15 million (over $33 million combined), from 17,800 individual donors with a $22.38 average online gift. These are campaign-announced totals; itemized donors and amounts will appear in the pre-general BOE filing. Blakeman comparison figures not included in the report.
