Signed Aug 19 in Harlem at Sen. Cordell Cleare's 5th Annual Senior Citizens Day, with Cleare and Assemblymember Alicia Hyndman. The law amends Elder Law to require the NY Connects: Choices for Long Term Care program to provide information on programs and services for New Yorkers with Alzheimer's and other dementias, and requires an ongoing education and outreach campaign. The release also cited Medicare Savings Program expansion and the insulin co-pay ban; see the related fact check on the savings figures.
