Hochul launches state website directing donations and anti-scam guidance for Venezuelan earthquake relief

Announced July 25: the state launched a website connecting New Yorkers to vetted relief organizations (Hispanic Federation, Aid for LIFE, Casa de Venezuela Orlando, World Central Kitchen) for Venezuelan earthquake recovery, plus tips for avoiding donation scams. Venezuela's toll has passed 5,000 deaths and 16,000 injured. New York has one of the largest Venezuelan communities in the U.S.
