Hochul grants six pardons in first rolling (non-year-end) clemency batch, bringing her total to 145 grants
On Aug 28 Hochul pardoned six people — convictions dating 1986-2015 for drug possession, a loaded firearm, assault, DWI and bail jumping — citing her Clemency Advisory Panel and a commitment to grant clemency on a rolling basis rather than only at year-end. Her office says she has now issued 145 clemency grants: 125 pardons and 20 commutations.
