Tim Kennedy and Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan launch a canvass at CWA Local 1168 headquarters in Amherst on Sept. 12, the state Democratic Committee's pitch that Blakeman's record would raise costs and property taxes

The state Democratic Committee's anti-Blakeman tour held its Western New York stop Saturday at the CWA Local 1168 hall in Amherst, Erie County. Speakers were Democratic lieutenant governor nominee Adrienne Adams, U.S. Rep. Tim Kennedy and Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan, joined by labor representatives.
