CSEA members ratify five-year contracts: raises for 55,000+ state workers through April 2031
All four CSEA bargaining units ratified five-year labor agreements announced Aug 6, covering more than 55,000 state employees through April 1, 2031. Terms include raises, boosts to location pay and unit-specific payments, 20 hours of paid prenatal leave, a higher sick-leave accumulation cap, and health insurance changes reducing co-pays and out-of-network costs. Relevant to the intra-labor split over Hochul's union record.
