Blakeman answers the Working Families Party endorsement by calling it "the Socialist Party" and urging voters to "slam the door" on Hochul "on November 4th"; Election Day is Nov. 3, and the Hochul campaign mocked the error as the campaign having "put down the AI slop" to write its own material

Backfill (Sept. 17-19). After the WFP put Hochul and Adrienne Adams on its ballot line Sept. 16, Blakeman's campaign statement said the WFP stands for tax hikes, defunding police, ending suburban zoning and a $250K inheritance-tax threshold, and told voters to reject it "on November 4th." The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3 (early voting Oct. 24-Nov. 1). Hochul's campaign issued a release Sept. 17 pointing out the wrong date; Long Island Life & Politics (Sept. 19) carried both statements and the WFP's own platform language (child care, housing, health care, immigrant protections). The Blakeman campaign did not say whether the date was a typo. Context: WFP voters accounted for 261,323 of Hochul's 3,140,415 votes in 2022 (8.3%), per BOE results cited by LILP.
