Hochul demands DHS answers on three planned ICE detention sites in New York

In a letter to DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin dated July 12, Hochul demanded answers on reports of three federal immigration detention projects planned in New York — a Rochester building that houses a daycare and federal court, plus sites in Batavia and Newburgh — accusing DHS of "secrecy, evasion and contempt for communities and the rule of law."
