Hochul cuts ribbon on Moog's $150M advanced manufacturing facility in East Aurora for company's 75th anniversary
Hochul marked aerospace/defense manufacturer Moog Inc.'s 75th anniversary in East Aurora (Erie County) on Aug 14 with a ribbon-cutting for its new $150M, 150,000-sq-ft Advanced Integrated Manufacturing facility serving military aircraft precision machining. The state's stake: a $16.4M Excelsior Jobs Program package (2023) tied to 500+ new jobs, 8,000 kW of low-cost NYPA hydropower, and ~$3M in Erie County IDA tax breaks. Moog employs 4,000+ locally, 14,000+ worldwide. This was the previously unspecified Erie County event on the governor's Aug 14 schedule.
