Hochul says she will campaign with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at multiple events before Election Day as AOC starts a statewide tour; Blakeman says the more AOC campaigns for Hochul, the better his chances

In a WNYC interview Sept. 23, Hochul said she asked Ocasio-Cortez and others to campaign statewide. Ocasio-Cortez's tour opens in Buffalo. Newsweek separately reported Sept. 22 that Hochul asked Ocasio-Cortez for $300,000 for the Democrats' statewide coordinated campaign, with the money directed to field organizing and half reserved for Spanish-language outreach. That money went to the coordinated campaign, not Hochul's own committee.
