Hochul signs cannabis showcase bill: microbusinesses can now sell at farmers markets and pop-up events
Hochul signed S.10113/A.11217 (now Chapter 207 of the Laws of 2026) on Aug 6, letting licensed cannabis microbusinesses fully participate in Cannabis Showcase Events — pop-ups, farmers markets, and public market events — without needing to partner with standalone cultivators or processors. Effective immediately. Licensed dispensaries reported nearly $1.7B in 2025 sales, up from ~$900M in 2024.
